I've been going to trainings for the reading programs my colleagues and I will be using, and this post on ChoiceLiteracy shows many components of word study that I've learned to teach these past couple weeks.
Breaking down words and teaching students the rules of language can tremendously help struggling readers. I love some of the activities that were done here!
